Hanabishi is a place straight of-of a Japanese dream, and no one is complaining. You have enough traditional stuff to feel comfortable, and there’s the black cod miso, kurobuta, wagyu beef etc to feel like you’re in for a treat. With its modernist pillar with the timber floor, the black and green colour palette, you do feel like you’re in a quiet suburban corner in Japan.
