Get rid of that Stickiness! 10 Oily Skin care tips

Oily skin can be a nuisance to deal with. This aggregation of excess oil on the skin (outer skin layers) often gives way to blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, acne, and other skin-related allergies/irritations. To cheer one up, I would like to point out that though oily skin may not suit you well or cause irritation or be irksome or whatever; it is however of some use, after all. Oily skin tends to age better and develops fewer wrinkles when compared to normal or dry skin, at least some people claim that. So, in the end it’s not that bad, right?

Still, people have nightmares because their skin is way too oily and… and… they couldn’t even dare to show up their face to someone because of how untidy they look and stuff like that. That’s why we present to you some homemade recipes to tackle oily skin. Yes, you could always use products from the market or elsewhere but homemade things are, well – homemade. So, let us begin:

1. Lemon – Citrus fruits are not only delicious, but also refreshing for the skin as they help in reducing oils. One such fruit is Lemon. Lemon juice is an ideal source of citric acid and works like an astringent. It also has some antiseptic applications that restore skin’s pH balance and are able to lighten skin discolorations.
Here’s what you do, mix equivalent parts of lemon and water, stroke on your face, and let it dry. Rinse your mouth first with warm water followed by cool water for a refreshing delight! You could also try to mix ½-teaspoon limejuice with an equal quantity of cucumber juice instead of water.
